Save on Starbucks and Make it at Home!

Starbucks Drinks at Home

Of course I love my Starbucks coffee but my other favorite drink I like to get is the iced passionfruit tea. It is so refreshing and I get mine sweetened with lemonade. A few years ago I decided to try and save some money and not buy a venti passionfruit tea so often. To still quench my craving, I learned how to make it at home and how to make it will 10 or less calories!!

Passionfruit Tea Recipe

What you need

3 Tazo Passion Tea Bags

1 Crystal Light Lemonade packet

6-8 cups of water

Medium size pot

Galloon size pitcher

I drink a lot of tea especially when the temperatures drop and this is one of my favorite containers to keep my kitchen organized!

Tea Organizer

First I start with 6-8 cups of water and bring that to a boil.

Then place 3 Tazo Passion Tea Bags and boil for about five minutes.

Remove the tea bags, pour tea into a gallon size pitcher, and add one packet of crystal light lemonade to the pitcher.

Stir and add water to fill up the rest of the pitcher.

Refrigerate and enjoy!

Now Coffee Time

Since we brought up Starbucks… this is a quick way I make my ice coffee at home! I mean we can’t talk about Starbucks without talking about coffee right?!

My favorite coffee at home is Green Mountain Nantucket Blend K-Cups.

I use the Keurig Platinum Brewing System.

*Here is the holder that we use to keep the K-cups organized!

*My monogrammed mug from Anthropologie is sold out but here is a similar one!

Since my Yeti cup is tall, I remove the piece at the bottom (silver piece as shown above) so my cup can slide under.

The Yeti cup is key to making ice coffee fast!!

Favorite place ever is represented by the sticker! 30A

Once my cup is ready, I select the second to the largest cup.

After the sweet aroma has started to fill the kitchen, I grab a little of my coffee creamer and a few ice cubes.

Now the glorious cup of soon to be ice coffee is ready for the freezer! Depending on how long I have, I can usually have a nice chilled cup after about 15-30 minutes in the freezer!

Frosted to Perfection!

Enjoy!! Let me know if you have any other tips for making delectable Starbuck drinks at home!
